I was going through my flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/lizziduffell) and thinking how lucky i've been with the lighting at some gigs.
I hate flash. I never use it at gigs. Or hardly ever.
So i've decided to dedicate a post to the luck of good lighting.
So here in order are Chris Simmonds of South Central (but the photo was taken when in his previous band Acusis), The Metros, Jack Penate, Hero of Mimi Soya, George of One Night Only, Noah and the Whale, Das Pop and Alphabeat.

I suppose there is loads of stage light so sometimes it doesn't need flash. But one may just want to catch this very fast "spinning" of the band, then it's useful.
I quite like a few of the images - especially the closer up ones. Good luck with your new ideas! Looks like you need some blue sky thinking...
